August 23 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 3,995.18 points on Friday, a 1.9% increase of the value recorded at the end of trading last week, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 112.4 million denars ($2.0 million/1.8 million euro) this week from 61.7 million denars last week.
Lender Ohridska banka [MSE:OHB] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 18.2 million denars, as 2,977 of the company's shares changed hands in 41 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.01 points on Friday, up from 132.98 points at the end of last week.
