SKOPJE (North Macedonia), August 30 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,009.16 points on Friday, gaining 0.3% over the week, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) halved to 56.2 million denars ($1.0 million/907,000 euro) in four sessions this week from 112.4 million denars in five sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on Wednesday, August 28, for Feast of the Assumption of Mary (Orthodox).
Retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week. It generated a total turnover of 12.5 million denars, as 198 of its shares changed hands in 44 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.92 points on Friday, down from 133.01 points at the end of last week.
