December 7 (SeeNews) - Turnover on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) totalled 1.2 billion denars ($22 million/19.5 million euro) in November, up 32.10% month-on-month, the bourse said on Tuesday.
Turnover on the bourse's electronic system of trading (BEST) decreased by a monthly 22.12% to 445.1 million denars in November, the MSE said in a statement.
In November 2020, trading turnover on the MSE totalled 313.2 million denars, earlier bourse data showed.
The stock exchange's main index MBI10 lost 1.88% on a monthly comparison basis, closing at 5,886.98 points at the end of November. The index stood at 4,477.94 points at the end of November 2020.
The MSE had a total market capitalisation of 219.3 billion denars at the end of November, down 0.80% month-on-month. On an annual comparison basis, total market capitalisation was up 21.5% in November.
The number of transactions fell 11.91% month-on-month to 1,590 in November. There were 1,196 transactions on the Skopje bourse in November 2020.
