January 5 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,760.51 on Thursday, up 1.9% from its closing value of 5,652.33 on December 29, the last trading day in 2022, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) decreased to 24.3 million denars ($417,200/395,200 euro) in three trading sessions this week, from 72.3 million denars in four sessions last week, bourse data showed.
The bourse was closed on 30 December and 2 January for New Year, and will be closed on 6 January for Christmas.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the most - 12.1 million denars - to the trading turnover of the MSE this week through Thursday, as 1,011 of the bank's shares changed hands in a total of 54 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 124.61 points on Thursday, unchanged from December 29.
