January 13 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,849.27 on Friday, up 1.5% from its closing value of 5,760.51 on January 5, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) increased to 50.4 million denars ($887,100/820,900 euro) in five trading sessions this week, from 24.3 million denars in in three trading sessions last week, bourse data showed.
The bourse was closed on 2 January for New Year, and on 6 January for Christmas.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the most - 33.4 million denars - to the trading turnover of the MSE this week, as 2,707 of the bank's shares changed hands in a total of 143 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 123.69 points on Friday, slightly down from 124.61 points on January 5.
