June 2 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,835.18 points on June 1, the last trading day of the week, down 0.7% compared with its closing value of 5,876.38 points on May 26 bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 69.6 million denars ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) in four trading sessions this week, from 39.1 million denars in as many trading sessions last week.
The bourse is closed on Friday, June 2, due to a public holiday. It was also closed on Wednesday, May 24, for Ss Cyril and Methodius day.
NLB Banka [MSE:TNB] contributed the most - 25.95 million denars - to the trading turnover of the MSE this week, as 900 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 81 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 127.11 points on June 1, unchanged compared with the last trading day of the previous week.
