SKOPJE (North Macedonia), October 18 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,223.74 points on Friday, down 4.5% compared to the closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) fell to 65.9 million denars ($1.1 million/1.2 million euro) in five sessions this week from 88.3 million denars in four sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on Friday, October 11, for Revolution Day.
Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week. It generated a total turnover of 18.0 million denars, as 249 of its shares changed hands in 91 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.74 points on Friday, slightly down from 132.80 the last week.
