SKOPJE (North Macedonia), March 27 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 3,256.92 points on Friday, down 11% compared to its closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) fell to 235.75 million denars ($4.134 million/3.754 euro million) this week from 459.4 million denars the previous week.
The bourse suspended trading for an hour on Wednesday after its blue-chip index increased sharply. The stock exchange halted trading also on March 23, March 18 and March 16 due to steep drops of the MBI-10 index.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week – of 94.14 million denars, as 16,723 of the company's shares changed hands in 249 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.11 points on Friday, the same as a week earlier.
