SKOPJE (North Macedonia), January 10 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,837.96 points on Friday, up by 4.1% compared to the closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 70.3 million denars ($1.3 million/1.1 million euro) in three sessions this week from 46.02 million denars in three sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on December 31 and January 1 for New Year holidays and on January 6 and 7 for Orthodox Christmas holidays.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week. Deals in its shares generated a total turnover of 19.2 million denars, as 2,795 of its shares changed hands in 73 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.91 points on Friday, unchanged from the value recorded at the end of last week.
