SKOPJE (North Macedonia), January 3 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,647.13 points on Friday, up by 0.8% compared to the closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) fell to 46.02 million denars ($831,550/742,900 euro) in three sessions this week from 202.1 million denars in five sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on December 31 and January 1 for New Year holidays.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week. Deals in its shares generated a total turnover of 13.5 million denars, as 2,047 of its shares changed hands in 38 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.91 points on Friday, unchanged from the value recorded at the end of last week.
