SKOPJE (North Macedonia), December 20 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,482.20 points on Friday, up by 0.1% compared to the closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 82.2 million denars ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro) in five sessions this week from 52 million denars in four sessions last week last week.
On Monday, December 9, the bourse was closed for Saint Clement of Ohrid Day.
Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week. Deals in its shares generated a total turnover of 15.4 million denars, as 201 of its shares changed hands in 54 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.89 points on Friday, slightly up from 132.84 at the end of last week.
