SKOPJE (Macedonia), April 8 (SeeNews) – A private ophthalmology clinic worth $12 million (8.3 million euro) has opened in Skopje, the Macedonian government said.
The state-of-the-art European Eye Hospital, a Turkish investment project, has an area of 4,400 square meters and has capacity for 15,000 patient examinations per month, the government said in a statement on Thursday.
No further details about the investor were immediately available.
The clinic, which will operate as a regional ophthalmology center, employs 80 medical staff from Macedonia and Turkey.
The construction of the hospital was launched on June 17, 2010.
