January 13 (SeeNews) - State-owned Skijaliste Srbije plans to build a six-seat gondola lift connecting Mali Karaman and ski centre Kopaonik, in the south of the country, the local authorities said on Friday.
The size of the investment and planned launch date were not disclosed.
The new gondola lift will replace an existing four-seat ski lift, as it will take four minutes to cover the 1,300-metre distance, according to project documents published on the website of the local authorities.
According to the Serbian business registry, Skijaliste Srbije was founded in June 2006 with a capital of 70 million dinars ($645,000/600,000 euro).
SeeNews calls to Brus municipal authorities and to Skijalista Srbije seeking details of the planned investment and launch date went unanswered by the time this article was published.
