June 9 (SeeNews) - Software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] and poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] helped the blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) to close 0.55% higher on Wednesday at 538.12 points, bourse data showed.
Shares in Sirma Group Holding gained 3.96% to close at 0.52 levs. A total of 9,400 shares of the software group changed hands during the trading session at an average price of 0.51 levs apiece.
Gradus' shares closed at 1.46 levs, up 3.55%, in a turnover of 320 units.
IoT products developer Allterco [BUL:A4L] was another notable gainer, with the company's shares adding 2.35% to 17.40 levs.
Allterco said on Wednesday that it has entered into a 2.1 million euro ($2.5 million) non-binding agreement to sell its telecommunications business in Asia to Singapore-based Skylight Venture Capital Pte. On Tuesday, the company said that it has applied to start trading on the regulated market (XETRA 2) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on September 1.
First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:FIB] topped the decliners' list among SOFIX members as its shares shed 7.65% of their price, to 1.57 levs.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, rose 0.21% to 119.71 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.13% to 573.81 points. The BGBX40 was mainly supported by the increase in the share price of Sirma Group Holding, while the BGTR30 was dragged down predominantly by Fibank.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.19%% to 152.01 points mainly due to a 0.50% increase in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:BREF].
The regulated market turnover totalled 106,700 levs ($66,500/54,600 euro) on Wednesday.
