January 22 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian unit of German electronics and engineering group Siemens said it will open two hubs in Bulgaria - one in Sofia and one in the coastal city of Varna.
The hub in Sofia will be responsible for handling client orders from Central and Eastern Europe, while the engineering hub in Varna will be used for the development and implementation of automation systems for the automotive industry, Siemens Bulgaria said in a statement last week.

The two hubs are expected to begin operations in the spring, the statement reads.
Siemens Bulgaria, established in 1998, employs over 500 people in the country. It has a production facility in Pravets, near the capital Sofia, and two engineering competence centres in Sofia and Plovdiv.
