LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), March 6 (SeeNews) – Shares of Slovenia’s financial group KD [LJE:KDHR] posted the biggest gains among the blue chips on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, erasing the losses they suffered in the previous session, bourse data showed.
KD Group gained 9.52% to 69.0 euro as 606 shares changed hands. On Tuesday, the stock ended 5.26% lower at 63.0 euro.
The biggest loser among the Slovenian blue chips was Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR]. Its shares shed 0.63% to 63.2 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed 1.04% higher at 865.47 points on Wednesday.
Total trading turnover on the Ljubljana bourse rose to 903,510 euro ($1.0 million) from 531,510 euro on Tuesday.
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] recorded the largest trading turnover on the LJSE on Wednesday - of 242,450 euro.
