SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 8 (SeeNews) – In 2015, Romania and Bulgaria had the highest share of population employed in the agriculture sector among EU member states, the bloc's statistical institute Eurostat said on Wednesday.
Employment in agriculture constituted 25.8% of total employment in Romania in 2015, Eurostat said in a statement.

Bulgaria followed with a 18.2% share.
in the two other EU member states from Southeast Europe – Croatia and Slovenia - the share was less than 10%, the data showed.
