May 24 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Monday, with telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] leading the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Optima's shares closed down 5.61% at 5.38 kuna on Monday, ZSE data showed.
Telecommunications equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] paced the blue-chip gainers, rising 0.90% to 1,690 kuna.
Among the ten blue-chips, two companies closed higher, four fell, three closed flat and one did not trade on Monday.
The bourse's total trading turnover rose to 7.9 million kuna ($1.3 million/1.1 million euro) on Monday from 7.2 million kuna on Friday.
Diversified holding Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS2] generated the highest turnover among the blue-chips on Monday, changing hands in a turnover of 970,569 kuna. The company's blue-chip preferred shares closed at 417 kuna, down 0.71%.
The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index went down 0.15%, closing at 1,940.65 points on Monday, after losing 0.52% the previous trading day.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed at 1,199.98 points on Monday, down 0.08%, after edging up 0.01% on Friday.
