May 20 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed lower on Monday, with telecommunication services provider Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] leading the blue-chip decliners.
Hrvatski Telekom's shares ended 6.15% lower at 152.5 kuna.
Diversified holding Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] paced the blue-chip gainers, as its shares closed 6.16% higher at 9.30 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue chips on the ZSE on Monday - 1.6 million kuna.
The turnover was also boosted by a 2.5 million kuna block transaction in shares of hotel operator Hoteli Makarska's [ZSE:HMAM].
ZSE's total trading turnover decreased to 12 million kuna ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro), from 16.3 million kuna on Friday.
The 25-share benchmark share index CROBEX dropped 0.59% to 1,853.43 after growing 0.76% on Friday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, decreased 1.40% to 1,088.04 after rising 1.12% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index fell 0.07% to 113.0594.
