January 23 (SeeNews) - Austrian retail properties developer and operator Spar European Shopping Centers (SES) will open a 150 million euro ($166 million) shopping centre in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana on March 19, local media reported.
The Aleja shopping mall will be located in Ljubljana's Siska neighbourhood and is expected to create 700 jobs, state news agency STA reported earlier this week.
SES says on its website that Aleja will host 80 shops, restaurants and service providers on a planned leasable area of 32,000 square metres.
SES already operates two shopping centres in Ljubljana, and one in Celje and in Maribor.
SES is a subsidiary of Austrian family-owned company Spar Austria Group which has more than 75,000 employees in Austria and six other countries.
