December 18 (SeeNews) - Serbian ceramic tiles manufacturer Zorka Keramika plans to invest 15 million euro ($17.1 million) in the construction of a new unit at its production plant in Sabac, owner Markus Bogdanovic said.
The company plans to start the construction of the unit next year and to complete it 2020, opening about 100 new jobs, Bogdanovic said in a video file posted on the website of Serbian news agency Tanjug on Monday.
"Zorka Keramika exports about 50% of its output and is interested in developing its production capacity further," parliament speaker Maja Gojkovic said during a visit to the company's production plant in Sabac, northern Serbia.
Austrian company aVentures bought Zorka Keramika and the Zorka-Opeka brick manufacturing plant in Koceljeva in 2004. Zorka Keramika currently has 300 employees.
