October 14 (SeeNews) - Belgrade-based Windflow West plans to build a 100 MW wind park near Vranje, in southern Serbia, the city authorities said.
In the initial stage of the project, the park will comprise ten generators of 6 MW each, according to project documents posted on the Vranje municipality website earlier this month.

According to the Serbian business registry, Windflow West is co-owned by American-based SunFlow Holding, which owns 70% of its capital, and Turkish company Vulcanus Enerji Yatirim Anonim Sirketi, which holds the remainder.
It was founded in May 2021 with a capital of 1 million dinars ($8,300/8,500 euro).
So far, eight wind farms with a total capacity of 398 MW have been connected to Serbia's power grid, according to data of the Association Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia.
