June 13 (SeeNews) - Serbian state-run copper mining and smelting company RTB Bor said its exports rose 30% on the year to $106.7 million (90.8 million euro) in the first five months of 2018.
In May alone, RTB Bor's exports amounted to 16.4 million euro, RTB Bor said in its corporate newsletter Kolektiv on Tuesday.
RTB Bor's revenue from copper exports last month was $15.78 million, the company noted.
In May, 1.8 tonnes of selenium, 12 kg of palladium, 45 tonnes of copper sulphate and 2.1 tonnes of sulphuric acid were exported to Poland, Italy, Romania, Germany, Croatia and Turkey, RTB Bor added.
Last month, Serbia's prime minister Ana Brnabic said the government planned to call a tender for a strategic partner in RTB Bor in June.
