October 11 (SeeNews) - Serbia's public debt totalled 28.5 billion euro ($33 billion) at the end of August, the finance ministry said.
The debt was equivalent to 54.3% of the projected 2021 gross domestic product (GDP), up from 54.1% at the end of July, data posted on the finance ministry's website showed.
Serbia's public debt was equivalent to 57.0% of GDP at the end of 2020, when it amounted to 26.7 billion euro
