March 21 (SeeNews) - Serbia's prime minister Ana Brnabic said she believes a government reshuffle is urgently needed, as cabinet ministers are failing to work as a team.
"There are certain members of the government who have too much personal vanity, who are not team players, who push their personal agenda above the agenda of the government," Brnabic said in a video file posted on the website of news agency Tanjug on Tuesday.
According to Serbian media reports, Brnabic has threatened to resign if "personal vanities" were not put aside, Tanjug said.
Brnabic said in the video file she will discuss the government reshuffle with the country's president Aleksandar Vucic, who is also leader of the ruling centre-right SNS party, after he returns to Serbia from Brussels later this week.
Serbia's parliament endorsed in June the government led by Brnabic, who has no party affiliation, after former prime minister Vucic won the country's presidential elections in April.
Most ministers in the government come from SNS and socialist party SPS. Brnabic, 41, is often criticised of having little leverage within the cabinet.
