June 2 (SeeNews) - Serbia's southern city of Pirot has approved a proposal to develop a zoning plan for the construction of a 50 MW solar park by a local unit of Britain’s Hive Energy, local media reported.
The solar park, spanning a total of 57 hectares, will be located in the village of Blato, and will be built by Hive SPP East One, a Serbian arm of Britain’s Hive Energy, news portal Juzne Vesti reported on Thursday.

According to the Serbian business registry, Hive SPP East One, was founded in August 2022 with a capital of 10,000 dinars ($92/85 euro).
In February, Hive Energy said it is planning to develop fourteen projects in Serbia with a total capacity of 2.2 gigawatts (GW).
