May 8 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices fell, bourse data showed.
A total of 10,417 NIS shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 7.6 million dinars. NIS' share price declined 0.14% to 729 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.18% lower at 735.03 points.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price increased 2.27% to 180 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, dropped 0.07% to 1,583.10.
The total turnover on the bourse plummeted to 12.6 million dinars ($119,878/107,017 euro) on Wednesday from 989.7 million dinars on Tuesday, as 153 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 130,039 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
