June 1 (SeeNews) - Serbian renewable energy management consultancy firm New Energy Solutions plans to build a 220 MW wind farm in Kovacica, a document posted on the website of Kovacica municipality showed on Monday.
The wind farm will consist of 31 turbines with a capacity of 7 MW each plus a power substantion, the detailed regulation plan of the project showed.

New Energy Solutions opened a 104.5 MW wind farm in the municipality in northern Serbia in September 2019 following investment of 190 million euro ($212 million). The wind farm features It is equipped with 38 General Electric 2.75-120 type wind turbines and is capable of satisfying the energy needs of about 68,000 households.
In 2012 Electrawinds K-Wind started developing the Kovacica wind farm with permitting and development outsourced through New Energy Solutions. Israel's Enlight Renewable Energy acquired the project in 2016, and in September 2017 it said it intends to invest 189 million euro, with New Energy Solutions remaining project developer.
The entire capital of New Energy Solutions is owned by Cyprus-based company Drylake Limited, according to data from Serbia's business registry.
