December 7 (SeeNews) - Serbian logistics company Nelt Group plans to set foot on the markets of Croatia and Slovenia through its newly-established subsidiary Nelt Europe, it said.
"Nelt Europe will be the starting point in expanding the network of Nelt companies across Europe. Milena Vusak, a renowned professional with years of experience in the FMCG industry, has taken over the development of our business for Croatia and Slovenia with ambitious plans for the development and distribution of Nelt brands in these markets," general manager Milos Jelic said in a statement on Monday.
The consolidated revenue of Nelt Group is expected to exceed 1 billion euro ($1.1 billion) in 2021 and the company intends to make investments worth 19 million euro next year to develop its brands across Europe.
"In the past year, we have worked with partners to develop an advanced algorithm for sales and delivery routes. After the successful pilot project, the plan is to implement this solution as early as the first quarter of 2022," Nelt executive vice-president Darko Lukic noted.
Nelt was founded in Serbia in 1992 as a company with a core activity focused on trade. Nelt Group currently operates units in Bosnia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Angola, Mozambique and Zambia. The group employs some 4,000 people.
