March 1 (SeeNews) - Serbian real estate development company MPC Properties plans to invest 65 million euro ($79 million) in the construction of its Usce Tower Two office building in Belgrade, the Belgrade city government said.
The company officially started on February 27 the construction of the office building which will have 27,000 square metres of floor area above ground and as much underground, the Belgrade city government said in a statement earlier this week.
The office building will have 22 floors, a leasable area of 23,200 square metres and a BREEAM certificate, the board member of MPC Properties, Tijana Vujovic, said in the statement.
In its Belgrade Office Market Q4 2017 report published earlier this month, real estate consultancy JLL said Usce Tower Two is scheduled for completion in 2019.
MPC Properties already operates the Usce Shopping Center in Belgrade which has an area of about 47,000 square metres and 1,250 parking places on two underground levels. The complex includes the 25-storey Usce Tower, according to data from the corporate website of MPC Properties.
