April 13 (SeeNews) - Serbian dairy group Mlekara Subotica has invested 2.5 million euro ($3.1 million) in the overhaul of its production facilities in the last three years, the company's plant manager, Sasa Dzonlaga, said.
With the investments, the company managed to increase its production capacity, improve the quality of its products and introduce a new packaging design, Dzonlaga said in a video file posted on the website of news agency Tanjug on Thursday.
This year, the company plans to process between 62 and 65 million litres of milk, while the quantity of end product will stand at about 48,000 tonnes, Dzonlaga said.
A total of 25% of the output will be exported, he added.
Mlekara Subotica makes a wide range of products under the Zdravo! brand, including fresh milk, and sour-milk products like yoghurt, sour cream, mileram and sour milk.
