October 30 (SeeNews) - Serbian lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] said on Monday its pre-tax profit for the first nine months of 2017 reached 5.698 billion dinars ($55.6 million/47.8 million euro), exceeding the sum set in its business plan.
The bank did not provide comparative figures. In November 2016, it posted a net loss of 1.779 billion dinars for the first nine months of 2016, versus a 1.305 million dinars profit in the prior-year period.
The capital adequacy ratio (CAR) totalled 27% at the end of September, well above the central bank's 12% minimum requirement, and deposits amounted to 1.6 billion euro, Komercijalna banka said in a brief statement, in which it also claimed a 12% market share in terms of assets.
In August, Komercijalna banka said it swung to 5.656 billion dinars profit in the first half of 2017 from a loss of 2.646 billion dinars in the same period last year.
