November 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's trade deficit rose by 47.6% in the ten months through October, reaching 9.466 billion dollars (8.205 billion euro), the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
Exports increased by 13% year-on-year to 23.674 billion dollars in the January-October period, while imports went up by 21% to 33.140 billion dollars, the statistical office said in a statement.
The export-import ratio fell to 71.4% from 76.6% in the first ten months of 2021.
In October alone, Serbia's exports increased by 3.4% on the year to 2.369 billion dollars, while imports added 9.8% to 3.297 billion dollars, resulting in a 928 million dollar deficit.
On a monthly comparison basis, exports decreased by 3.5% in September, while imports increased by 5.3%.
