December 29 (SeeNews) - Serbia's foreign trade deficit in the eleven months through November widened 21.9% on the year to $4.313 billion (3.6 billion euro), data from the country's statistical office showed on Friday.
The country's exports rose 14.3% to $15.6 billion, while imports grew by 15.8% to $19.9 billion, the data indicated.
The export-import ratio dropped to 78.3% from 79.4% in the first eleven months of 2016.
Serbia’s main export markets in the eleven months through November were Italy and Germany, absorbing $2.1 billion and $2 billion worth of exports, respectively. Imports originating from Germany and Italy stood at $2.5 billion and $2 billion, respectively.
