May 31 (SeeNews) - Serbia's trade deficit decreased 39.1% on the year to $2.83 billion (2.7 billion euro) in the first four months of 2023, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
The country's exports grew by 9.2% year-on-year to $10.4 billion in the January-April period, while imports fell by 6.7% to $13.233 billion, the statistical office said in a statement.
The export-import ratio increased to 79% from 67% in the first four months of 2023.
In 2022, Serbia's trade deficit rose by 45% to $12.090 billion.
