February 22 (SeeNews) - Serbian construction company Ingrap-Omni has started a project for the expansion of Batrovci border crossing with Croatia, infrastructure minister Zorana Mihajlovic said on Tuesday.
The government has ensured a funding of 460 million dinars ($3.9 million/3.7 million euro) for the project, which will involve the construction of a parking lot and increasing the total number of lanes to 18, Mihajlovic told public broadcaster Radio Televizija Srbije (RTS).
The construction works, concerning the Serbian side of the border crossing only, are expected to be completed on September 16, Mihajlovic added.
Batrovci lies on European route E70.
