April 12 (SeeNews) - Serbia's average annual consumer price inflation slowed to 1.4% in March from 1.5% in February, the national statistical office said on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Serbia's consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.1% in March, after increasing by 0.3% in February, the statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 0.5% month-on-month in March, while healthcare services costs went up 0.4%.
In March, a 0.2% price increase on a monthly comparison basis was recorded in the sectors of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, furniture, restaurants and education each.
Prices of recreation and culture fell 1.5% month-on-month in March.
The country's annual consumer price inflation quickened to 3.0% in 2017 from 1.2% in 2016.
