October 4 (SeeNews) - Serbian civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] said it has signed a 43 million euro ($50.6 million) contract as part of a public-private partnership (PPP) deal signed by France's Suez and I - Environment Investments Limited with the Belgrade city government.
The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract signed by Energoprojekt involves works at the Vinca landfill, the Serbian company said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The EPC contract will expire in July 2022, Energoprojekt said.
Last week, Suez said it signed an agreement to invest 300 million euro ($352.1 million) in the construction of a waste-to-energy facility in Belgrade in consortium with I - Environment Investments Limited, a subsidiary of Japan's Itochu.
Following completion of the construction, managed by French industrial engineering contractor and equipment manufacturer CNIM and Serbian civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL], and planned in 2021, the facilities will be operated by Suez for 25 years, Suez said.
The waste-to-energy facility will have an installed power production capacity of 25 MW and heat production capacity of 56 MW. It will be processing 340,000 tonnes of waste annually.
