BELGRADE (Serbia), July 17 (SeeNews) – Serbia's economy ministry said it will co-finance the implementation of 78 infrastructure projects worth a total 3 billion dinars ($28.6 million/24.9 million euro) this year.
As part of the Build Together programme to improve local and regional infrastructure, the ministry will provide to local governments 1.25 billion dinars from a loan from the European Investment Bank, as the remaining 1.76 billion dinars needed to finance the projects will be financed by the local governments themselves, it said in a statement over the weekend.
The funds will be issued to 16 cities and 52 municipalities to build and restore road and social infrastructure.
