December 6 (SeeNews) - Serbian diversified conglomerate Delta Holding plans to invest 20 million euro ($23.6 million) into the construction of a four-star hotel under the Indigo brand in Belgrade.
The construction of Indigo, the first boutique hotel in Serbia, will take 18 months to complete, the deputy managing director of Delta Holding, Zivorad Vasic, said in a statement on Tuesday.
Delta is also ready to invest 200 million euro into the construction of a shopping mall under the Delta Planet brand in the Autokomanda neighbourhood of Belgrade, Vasic said.
Delta Holding also has the promise of the Belgrade authorities to receive a permit for the construction of a hotel under the InterContinental brand in New Belgrade, he added.
In September, Delta Holding said it officially opened its InterContinental Hotel in Slovenia's capital Ljubljana. The company invested 50 million euro in the construction of the only five-star hotel in Ljubljana, with 165 rooms.
