November 3 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Delta Holding is negotiating the purchase of at least two high-category hotels in Croatia and Albania, Belgrade-based media reported on Thursday.
The diversified holding group has high hopes of becoming a regional leader in the hotel industry and is currently engaged in serious negotiations over acquiring hotels in Croatia and Albania, news daily Blic reported.

If the negotiations are successfully completed, Delta will add at least two hotels to its business empire which currently includes six hotels in four countries, Blic noted.
The location of the objects has not been disclosed because negotiations are ongoing.
Earlier this week, Delta said it had become the owner of four-star Holiday Inn Hotel and BelExpo centre in Belgrade.
By acquiring these properties, Delta is continuing the expansion of its strategic businesses in Serbia. The company has also strengthened its relationship with InterContinental Hotels Group under whose brands it now runs three hotels - Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and the future InterContinental hotel in Ljubljana whose launch is planned in spring 2017.
Delta is also preparing to begin the construction of InterContinental Belgrade hotel and has already defined the site.
Delta Holding businesses span agriculture, real estate, insurance, distribution of fast-moving consumer goods and retail trade.
