November 15 (SeeNews) - Serbia's consumer prices rose by 6.6% year-on-year in October, after growing by 5.7% in September, official statistics showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, Serbia's consumer price index (CPI) went up 0.9% in October, after rising by 0.8% in September, according to figures published by the national statistical office.
In October, the biggest price increase in annual terms was registered in transport (11.7%), food and non-alcoholic beverages (9.8%) and housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (6.5%).
In monthly terms, the prices of transport went up 1.8%, prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased 0.9%.
