BELGRADE (Serbia), April 11 (SeeNews) – Serbian company CarGo Technologies launched its ridesharing platform Car:Go in Austria's capital Vienna on Thursday, it said.
The company plans to launch the platform in a further eight Austrian cities by the end of the year, CarGo Technologies said on its Facebook page.
"In the first investment cycle, CarGo has hired 200 people in Vienna to work with hybrid and electric cars, and we expect a further 2,000 people to get a job through the application by the end of the year," CarGo director Vuk Guberinic said.
After its expansion in Austria, CarGo aims to launch investments in the region of Southeast Europe (SEE) where it aims to become a leader in the ridesharing segment, the company noted.
Car:Go is an application through which users can order a ride, making payment with a credit card, or with CarGo credit, serviced by Telenor Bank, MTS credit, PayPal and iPay.
Car:Go is also available in Serbia's capital Belgrade and in Zurich, Switzerland.
