March 15 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Serbia in January went down 8% on an annual comparison basis, to 1,568, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
The estimated value of the planned projects covered by the issued permits increased by 51.4% year-on-year in January, the statistical office said in a statement.
In December 2022, the number of permits decreased by 12% year-on-year, to 2,561, while the estimated value of the works covered by them increased by 6%.
In 2022, the number of building permits issued in Serbia fell by 2.8%.
