BELGRADE (Serbia), October 16 (SeeNews) - Serbian company Bokic Gojko has increased its stake in the capital of bus company Nis-Ekspres [BEL:NEKS] to 97.9% from 49.3% as part of a buyout bid, it said.
Bokic Gojko acquired 234,345 ordinary Nis-Ekspres shares, or 48.6% stake in the company's capital, it said in a filing with the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The company also lifted the total number of Nis-Ekspres preferential shares it owns to 30,608, or 45.8% of total, it said.
Bokic Gojko launched the bid on September 13, aiming to acquire 254,110 ordinary Nis-Ekspres shares at a price of 1,537 dinars ($14.4/13.1 euro) apiece until October 14.
Nis-Ekspres has 501,029 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 1,000 dinars apiece.
