November 30 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Belgrade bourse rose on Wednesday, with the BELEXline index hitting a 2016 high, as stock turnover declined, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, added 0.35% to 694.63 after losing 1.01% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline index rose by 0.25% and reached a 2016 high of 1,531.84 points on Wednesday after losing 0.18% in the previous session.
The share price of Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] rose the most among the blue chips on Monday, adding 1.70% to 1,790 dinars as 70 shares were traded.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the blue chip decliners, shedding 0.37% to 1,084 dinars as 109 shares were traded.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt Holding [BEL:ENHL] was the most traded blue-chip company with a turnover of 6.3 million dinars on Wednesday. Its stock closed flat at 1,420 dinars.
Trading in shares generated 34.4 million dinars ($297,321/280,586 euro) in turnover, compared to 53.8 million dinars on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, trading in Treasury bonds generated 30.1 million dinars of the day's total bourse turnover of 64.6 million dinars.
