BELGRADE (Serbia), December 4 (SeeNews) – Serbia's competition watchdog said it approved the acquisition of the entire capital of Bosnian company Blicnet by Telekom Srpske, owned by Telekom Srbija.
The Commission has concluded that the transaction will not lead to horizontal overlaps or negative vertical effects on the Serbian market, the competition watchdog said in a notice on Sunday.

Last month, Slovenian telecoms operator Telekom Slovenije said it signed an agreement with Telekom Srpske to sell its 100% interest in its Bosnian unit Blicnet.
"The contracting parties plan for the transaction to be completed by the end of 2018, as soon as all the suspensory conditions agreed in the sale and purchase agreement are finalised," Telekom Slovenije said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
Telekom Slovenije also said it will not reveal any further details, including the purchase amount, until the conclusion of the transaction.
Blicnet is an integrated provider of mobile and fixed telephony services, broadband internet, cable and digital TV, as well as network operator and system integrator.
