December 12 (SeeNews) - Serbia's annual consumer price inflation stood at 2.8% in November, the same as in October, the national statistical office said on Tuesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Serbia's consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged in November after increasing by 0.2% in October, the statistical office said in a montly inflation report.
Prices of clothing and footwear rose 1.5% on the month in November, while the price of furniture, furnishings and household maintenance edged up 0.5% and of transport services by 0.4%.
In November, a 0.3% price increase on a monthly comparison basis was also recorded in the group of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, while prices in the group of leisure and culture, and communication and education gained 0.2% each.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages fell 0.7% month-on-month in November.
The country's annual consumer price inflation slowed to 1.2% in 2016 from 1.9% in 2015.
