August 12 (SeeNews) - Serbia's average consumer prices rose by 1.6% year-on-year in July, after growing by 1.5% in June, official statistics show.
On a monthly comparison basis, Serbia's consumer price index (CPI) fell by 0.2% in July, after decreasing by 0.3% in June, according to figures published on the website of the national statistical office.
Prices of recreation and culture grew by 3.2% month-on-month in July, while alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose 1.1%.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages declined by 1.3% in July.
Serbia's average annual consumer price inflation slowed to 2.0% last year from 3.0% in 2017.
