May 24 (SeeNews) - Serbia’s Alta Banka said it recorded a net loss of 14.5 million dinars ($133,200/123,600 euro) in 2022, compared to a net profit of 17.6 million dinars in the previous year.
The lender's net interest income almost doubled to 1.14 billion dinars last year from 611.4 million dinars in 2021, while net fee and commission income soared to 1.16 billion dinars from 296 million dinars, Alta Banka said in a filing to the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 25.9 billion dinars at the end of 2022, while deposits totalled 50.2 billion dinars.
